Here is another way of cooking chicken - steaming. This recipe was inspired by a steamed chicken recipe from the food blog Casa Veneracion. I just modified some of the ingredients because I simply could not find it! What I came up with was still a good one which my two boys enjoyed.

Steamed Chicken
Ginger and Garlic Sauce
Ingredients:
- Chicken
- Oregano, crushed
- Salt and Pepper
- 4 cloves of garlic, grated
- 2 thumb-sized pieces of fresh ginger, grated
- Wansuy, chopped
- Sesame oil
Procedure:
- Rub the chicken with crushed oregano, salt and pepper.
- Place in a steamer with boiling water for about 45 minutes.
- Place the grated ginger and garlic in a bowl.
- Pour in about half a cup of sesame oil.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in chopped wansuy.
- Wait for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to seep in.
