SMS Scam by Sam O. Mendoza

I have been receiving text messages from a certain Sam O. Mendoza since December 2012. She says she's a 22-year old girl from Bacolod and she's asking for help to be able to go to Manila. According to her, she applied for a job in San Miguel Corp - Ortigas thru SMC-Mansilingan Plant in Bacolod. And that she wais scheduled for a Final Briefing in the Ortigas office that week, hence she needs to go to Manila asap. She even gave a website link where her photo and credentials can be found. She sounded really desperate and if you are not careful you could easily be moved by her pleading words. All About Hydrotherapy at Ace Water Spa

When hubby announced last Friday night that we were going to Ace Water Spa this weekend, Miguel and I were ecstatic. Finally, we are going to have some much needed water fun. Ace Water Spa is no ordinary pool. It is actually an indoor hydrotherapy massage pool. Hence, the word "spa" in its name. Instead of the usual massage where you lie down while a person applies pressure on various parts of your body to ease tension, Ace Water Spa utilizes water to do the job for you. Since it is actually a spa, there is a time limit of 4 hours in the pool. Also, they do no allow food and drinks inside the pool area so we had a light breakfast in the nearby Jollibee prior to going there. Last Day of School

Another school year over. Hay, my Miguel survived three school years already! One in a traditional school and two years in Kolisko Waldorf School . His one-year stint in a traditional school was a big mistake that I blogged about here in July 2010. Kolisko has helped a lot in changing Miguel's concept of school. These days he enjoys school so much that every time he wakes up in morning he asks, "Mommy, may pasok ba ko?". If I say yes, he replies, "Yehey!". Otherwise, he says, "Aaay. (sad face) Bakit?" Once, his Lola (granny) asked him what they do in school and his reply was, "Laro, kain, tulog". So is it really any surprise that he enjoys school so much? Today was their last day and they had a mini feast which they shared with the parents.
