Kung Hei Fat Choi Part 2

It's the first day of the Chinese New Year so we're having a Mexican-inspired lunch. Duh?

We bought a box of medium-sized taco shells last weekend and we decided to have it for lunch today. Not really to celebrate the Chinese New Year but just to satisfy our craving for  something different. - different from the usual food that we devour at home. =)

Ingredients:
1/4 ground beef
Shredded lettuce
4 medium sized tomatoes, chopped
White onion. sliced (I served just 1/4 of one big onion bec I was the only who wants onion on her tacos)
Chopped garlic
Grated cheese

Procedure:
1. Saute garlic and onion in hot oil.
2. Add ground beef until well cooked.
3. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Fill each taco shell with 1 to 2 tbsp of ground beef.
5. Add lettuce or cabbage, onion, tomatoes, taco sauce or hot sauce.
6. Top with grated cheese.

It was really a messy eat but worth it. Miguel enjoyed it. He drank a whole 2liter bottle of Coke to go with it. Joke!
