SMS Scam by Sam O. Mendoza

I have been receiving text messages from a certain Sam O. Mendoza since December 2012. She says she's a 22-year old girl from Bacolod and she's asking for help to be able to go to Manila. According to her, she applied for a job in San Miguel Corp - Ortigas thru SMC-Mansilingan Plant in Bacolod. And that she wais scheduled for a Final Briefing in the Ortigas office that week, hence she needs to go to Manila asap. She even gave a website link where her photo and credentials can be found. She sounded really desperate and if you are not careful you could easily be moved by her pleading words. All About Hydrotherapy at Ace Water Spa

When hubby announced last Friday night that we were going to Ace Water Spa this weekend, Miguel and I were ecstatic. Finally, we are going to have some much needed water fun. Ace Water Spa is no ordinary pool. It is actually an indoor hydrotherapy massage pool. Hence, the word "spa" in its name. Since it is actually a spa, there is a time limit of 4 hours in the pool. Also, they do no allow food and drinks inside the pool area so we had a light breakfast in the nearby Jollibee prior to going there. They discourage eating a heavy meal 30 minutes prior to a spa treatment to prevent vomiting due to the strong pressure of the water massa

NBI Clearance

I got my NBI clearance today and it took me 2.5 hours only! Yipee! The last time I had to get one, it took me 6 hours. It was in the NBI office in the Quezon City Hall and the queue of people was already a mile-long when I arrived there as early as 8am. Obviously, 8am was not as early as I thought it was. So this year, I did a little research first and I found out that there are NBI satellite offices in Robinsons malls. And I also discovered that the Robinsons Mall in Otis has the fastest processing time. It's a little tricky to get there because there are no jeepneys or buses that passes that area but there is still a way to get there. (See directions below) NBI Clearance Application Procedure The NBI office in Robinsons Otis is located at the 2/F of the mall. They only process the first 500 applications per day so be there early.
